Left/Right works from the shadows as a dj, producer, promoter, and professor. His music has been featured in DJ Mag, Mixmag, UKF, Dancing Astronaut, and Insomniac and garnered support from Oliver Heldens, Zeds Dead, Wuki, My Nu Leng, Mr Carmack, BBC Radio 1, Rinse FM and more. L/R works as an artist and A&R for Stanton Warrior’s label PUNKS, his own imprint/brand, BRØKEN, and has released on Dirtybird, Audiophile XXL, and Insomniac’s In Rotation.
With degrees in both music composition and audio engineering, Chris loves to create. His tunes and dj selections feature a diverse sound that drive his energetic performances and introspective mixes. L/R is regularly booked coast to coast and internationally to move dance floors – including sets at Fabric (London), Burning Man, SXSW, WMC, MiddleLands, Glastonbury, and his resident BRØKEN events.
— Bit Flip
Since becoming involved with the dance music scene Bit Flip has made it a point to bring something new and fresh to the table with every performance. Originally focused on breaks and house his style can branch into all realms from drum and bass to G House and anywhere in between. No matter what genre or tempo there is one main theme – keep the dancefloor moving.
You may have seen him throwing down heavy breakbeat styles with Rusko, or in warehouses in Detroit. Whatever the venue, wherever the location, Bit Flip is there with a flavor all his own and to take you on a musical journey.
In DJ mode, Firecat 451 brings sick dubstep with precision and power. Also in the line-up are impressive blends of trap and electro music with notes of international flavor. Dance floors will rattle and ragers will be rewarded with perfectly chosen grooves.
Firecat 451 also does Drum & Bass and Drumstep, in this mode, breakers, b-boys, and those who represent can’t help but to come front and center and show respect for the diligence and wicked track selection.
Bodyrock specialist and #Freshlist resident BlazeWright, brings turntablism, pad banging, and a wildly unpredictable track selection with every set. This is a DJ who plays the new, the throwback, and hard dance vibes that you have come to expect from great night out!
Like all Asgardians, Thor is not truly immortal but relies upon periodic consumption of the Golden Apples of Idunn to sustain his lifespan, which to date has lasted many millennia. Being the son of Odin and the elder goddess Gaea, the character is physically the strongest of the Norse gods, and has performed such feats as almost lifting the entire World Serpent (stated to encircle the Earth), and hurling the Odinsword, an enormous mystical blade of incalculable weight, through a Celestial. If pressed in battle, Thor is also capable of entering into a state known as the “Warrior’s Madness” (“berserksgangr” in Norse), which will temporarily increase his strength tenfold. The character also possesses virtually inexhaustible godly stamina, high resistance to physical injury such as rocket fire and falls from orbital heights and superhuman speed, agility and reflexes. As the Norse god of Thunder, Thor can summon the elements of the storm (lightning; rain; wind; snow) and uses Mjolnir as a tool to focus this ability. As the son of the Earth goddess Gaea, Thor has some control over the Earth, allowing him to create country spanning chasms.
Beekir has developed a distinctive blend of basslines and broken beats with an unmistakable sound. He delivers a sound that stands out and fits in among house & techno acts.
He reaches for deep, moody and moving underground vibes that are slightly slower than traditional breaks. His sets focus on quality rhythms, detailed drumwork, uplifting melodies and the occasional rap – all flowing together over a rolling low-end frequency.
Keep an eye out for Beekir playing in the Cleveland area. It’s no matter if he is warming up the dance floor or blowing up an afterparty, this is one local act you don’t want to miss.
